Airport Associates ehf. emphasizes the protection your personal information when applying for employment with us. This Privacy Policy provides information on how we treat and protect the personal information you provide.

We store the information and data you provide us with in connection with your application. This also includes other information we receive in connection with the application, e.g. recommendations from previous employers. It is the policy of Airport Associates ehf. not to request sensitive information from job applicants unless we are required by law to do so. By sending us an application for employment, you agree that your personal information will be used as part of the employment process. Your data will be used to evaluate the application and to verify the validity of recommendations and other information you have provided. We also use your data to respond to the application and to invite you to interview with us if we consider you suitable for a vacant position.

Your information will be processed in accordance with Icelandic legislation on the processing of personal data. Only those employees who are involved in the hiring process have access to data from you regarding employment. APA ehf. may use third-party services in the recruitment process in order to comply with the obligations set out in this Privacy Policy. We make regular changes to our security measures to keep abreast of the latest technological progress.

Your personal information will be stored in our database for 18 months following the last time it is updated. You have the right to contact us to see which personal information concerning you is stored at our company. In the event that such personal information proves to be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate, you may, at any time, request that the data be corrected or deleted.
